High Ping + Packet Loss between 8pm-11pm EST. I've had ATT fiber 1000 for about 3 years now and never had an issue until now. I recently moved into a new house (new build) which was serviced by ATT fiber so my service was moved over without any hiccups. Until I attempted to use it in the evening hours.
Their fiber setup is shared with either 32 or 64 connections, and you can imagine if everyone got home around 4pm and started hogging the bandwidth you’d definitely notice some packet loss. Like the subject says, I am getting massive ping spikes or basically 100% packet loss at every 15 minutes intervals, throughout the day, everyday. It's definitely NOT random. Since around April 2, 2024, my Internet access to a site in Singapore, www.dasko.org, has experienced massive packet loss. The problem started when traffic stopped being routed (I think) through Colorado Springs or somewhere, through some sites that seem to be in China and Hong Kong.
